The Gold Book is an introduction to the Intellectual Disability system, describing how the system works and is funded. Its chapters provide details about the system, including how to register, the waivers, different service models and what to do if you have a problem. There are also chapters on Autism Services and another on transition from school to adult life. The Appendices include commonly needed forms, resources, contact information, a listing of advocacy organizations and a glossary.
